Vacation in Mexico

Better late than never,  I thought I would FINALLY share a couple of my favorite photos from my vacation in Mexico! We stayed 9 days, 8 nights, and about 1/2 the time it rained. We did however make the best of it, and somehow, on those nice days we did manage to get a tan!

I think that look on our faces explains it all. Evan is so excited and thinks its awesome we're literally 5 feet from crocodiles. Myself on the other hand, I'm thinking TAKE THE PICTURE AND LETS GET OUT OF HERE! I swear it was like a Jurassic park experience at the crocodile zoo.

Overall it was such a fun and relaxing vacation. We snorkeled, zip lined backwards, zip lined into cenotes, jumped off huge rocks into open cenotes, boogie boarded, ate amazing food and so much more. I feel so lucky to have a man at my side who likes to stay active, and pushes me to my limits. After this vacation, I truly felt alive and re-energized. You only live once, might as well make the best of it. :-)

  2. Oh my, this looks like so much fun! Glad to hear you were still able to have fun despite the rain :) What part of Mexico did you go to? I'm heading to Isla Mujeres (off of Cancun) this October, and I can't wait!

    1. Kyla you are going to LOVE it down there! It's absolutely beautiful and I have to say, the beaches are by far the best I have seen! We stayed in Play Del Carmen which is about 40-45 minutes south of Cancun. If you decide to venture out and do any adventures try zip lining! :-) Hopefully you will have beautiful weather in October, we definitely learned our lesson to either go earlier or later in the season.
